Pasifika Youth rugby cup 2025

Bigger, Stronger, and More United Than Ever

The Pasifika Youth Rugby Cup returns in 2025, and this year’s tournament is shaping up to be the biggest and most culturally powerful tournament yet.

It will be held once again on Darug country at Whalan Reserve, NSW  from 29 November to 2 December

This event continues to grow each year and is  recognised as one of Australia’s premier junior rugby gatherings - a  celebration of Pacific, Māori, Indigenous and multicultural rugby talent.

With a record number of teams again this year you can expect to see a dazzling display of rugby and culture from all of our amazing youth.

The tournament will kickoff with the opening ceremony on the Friday afternoon. Our youth have been embracing learning their haka, waiata and poi which will be performed at the opening ceremony.

Our mighty nations participating this year are:

  • Māori
  • Koori
  • Tonga
  • Samoa
  • Cook Islands
  • Fiji
  • Niue
  • Australian Barbarians
  • Solomon Islands
  • Newcastle Pacifika
  • QLD Samoa

Save the date and we will see you in November.

The Māori Sports and Cultural Association acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are privileged to live, work and gather to share in sport and culture. Both here on Dharug land and all across the land. We honour and respect their rich cultural heritage and the connection our custodians have to the land, sea, skies and waterways.  We pay our respects to Elders past, Elders present and to those following in their footsteps.
